Located just 200 meters from Zaoying Station on Line 14, the Maizidian Brewpub is Slowboat’s second beer-producing facility in Beijing. Housed in a former North Korean restaurant, the space retains a bold, industrial character—defined by its strong concrete frame and architectural cues from 1970s socialist-era design.
Inspired by Bauhaus principles of form and function, the interior is carefully divided into modular zones that provide clear, functional spaces while maintaining a cohesive layout.
With 3-meter-tall brewing tanks that are twice the size of those at Sanlitun, the Maizidian Brewpub supports larger-scale production and serves as a key part of Slowboat’s innovation brewing operations. The venue seats up to 150 guests and features generous booth seating, long communal tables, and large south-facing windows that fill the space with natural light - making it an ideal gathering place for groups and craft beer fans alike.
